    Love the tin casing, film qualities not great but watchable.

    I think the newer edition with the more boring cover has better quality prints than this older one. So I took off one star for that. But I'm glad I bought this one because of the tin case which I just love, fit for display on your bookshelf. Unlike rabid Virginian fans, I love this series/season 9. I love the new theme song by Enino Morricone, I love the Italian Western look, I love the new characters, played by Stewart Granger and Lee Major. The guest stars are amazing including Greer Garson, Art Carney, Jack Albertson and the really terrific Desi Arnaz. Yeah, give this series some love.

    Great Series Finale

    The Virginian series ended with the final season being called "Men from Shiloh." Acting, filming and production were at their peak, and the writers did their duty masterfully. My particular purchased of a used DVD set was marred only by the fact that the plastic album cover was cracked on the side and so it is difficult to keep closed or to protect this great set from dust or grime. The entertainment value was well worth the price.

    Boring. nothing, like the tv show. Wish I hadn't wasted my money on this purchase.

    Good entertainment from the western TV series of several years back.

    The CDs are very clear. This was the last season and it is done very well. Good value for the price.
