Scott McCloud has got to be just about the smartest guy in comics. Once again, he's opened the floor to a debate that will no doubt go on for years-this time, with not just the definition of comics, but its very fate at stake., 'Scott McCloud's Reinventing Comics is a manifesto, and an audacious one, irritating as the grain of sand which may one day produce a pearl. It will provoke a lot of arguments, it will make a lot of people think, and it may ultimately change the world a little-which is, after all, what a manifesto is for.", Scott McCloud has got to be just about the smartest guy in comics. This delivery was earliest date! Condition, value, quality - all as described. (My mistake was not requiring the publishing date to be 1958. This was 1977.) This IS a Viking Portable Library copy of Dante's Divine Comedy in English, translated by Laurence Binyon, but it is with a cover DIFFERENT from what was shown. The tracking number was listed as from "UPS", but should have been listed as from "USPS." Contact with this seller alleviated tracking issues. I recommend this seller! Thank you!

  • Exactly what I asked for

I bought these books to gain information about how to thrive in the comic field. These books were very insightful as I read both of them cover to cover. The books were in great condition, no folded pages, no water damage, not even creased binding. The owner took very great care of them and I enjoyed them very much. Thank you.
