      The originals!

      I remember these books as a kid. My parents always hated them because of the pictures being to horrible. Now the new versions have toned down pictures and are not as good. These books are the originals, and are hard to find , even harder to find brand new. Better get them before they are gone!

      Very Pleased

      I was very pleased with my purchase. It was exactly what I expected and it came in a timely manner, plus it had the original artwork. I remember being freaked out by Scary Stories to Tell in The Dark when I was little, so when my 8 year old son came home from school talking about these scary books with spooky pictures I knew exactly what he was talking about. I just had to order them for him right away. The artwork is just as scary as I remember it. Scary Stories To Tell in The Dark.....scaring the crap out of kids since 1981 lol.

      Nostalgia

      Ordered these books because I remember how much I loved reading them in elementary school. They arrived quickly and were sealed and brand new. Passed on these books to my 6 year old niece, she loves them as much as I did.

      This is the series the movie is based on...

      There are very few types of books I like to collect, this series is one of them. Since my elementary school days I have been trying to collect them. Now I have them and they will make excellent reading time for me and my kids as they get older. I can't wait to take them camping for marshmallows and hotdogs later on over the summer!!

      Got it just in time for Halloween.

      I got these books just in time for Halloween. I personally believe that the original illustrations is what made these books the best scary story books for young kids. It just adds to the thrill of reading these books by flash light. My kids couldn’t believe how great they were and couldn’t put them down till they finished all 3 books in one sitting.
