Synopsis
The New York Timesbestselling author of The Other Womanreturns with a wry tale of two women who discover the grass is not always greener on the other side of the Atlantic Vicky Townsley is single, solvent, and seriously successful. Features director of the hugely successful Poise!magazine, she has an amazing flat, good friends, a fantastic wardrobe . . . in short, everything—except the life she wants: marriage, children, and a house in the country. On the other side of the Atlantic, Amber Winslow has a stone mansion in Connecticut, two kids (and a full-time nanny), the requisite golden retriever, and a busy charitable commitment for the local Women’s League. But she hasn’t quite found the fulfillment she had expected from being a wife and mother. When she spots an intriguing contest in Poise!, Amber never expects to be picked.Life Swapis a riotous and poignant look at what happens when two women, both of whom think their bliss lies elsewhere, walk in each other’s shoes for a month only to discover that happiness is closer than they’d ever thought. A rich, clever, and sharply observed chronicle of the true lives of women, Life Swapis a must read for the modern mademoiselle that will again squarely position Jane Green in a preeminent place in women’s fiction., "The New York Times" bestselling author of "The Other Woman" returns with a wry tale of two women who discover the grass is not always greener on the other side of the Atlantic Vicky Townsley is single, solvent, and seriously successful. - a***t (1007)- Évaluation laissée par l'acheteur.Dernier moisAchat vérifiéPerfection. A++++ Five Star Seller. Pleasant to deal with. I received an incredible value on my purchase. My order was packaged with care and arrived in like new condition! It was just as described in the listing. The seller wasted no time in updating me with tracking information and shipped out. The order arrived quickly. I am pleased with all the aspects of my purchase and would look forward to doing more business in the future. Highly Recommended! Thank you, well done!
- d***8 (124)- Évaluation laissée par l'acheteur.Six derniers moisAchat vérifiéItem arrived in condition as described in ad. Packaging left a little to be desired. Six books in the shipping sleeve was too many. The sleeve split and I could easily grab books out of it. Thank goodness none were lost or damaged. I would suggest larger envelopes for bigger orders, especially since the seller offers deals for buy more save more. Great price point. All books in good condition. Thank you.
- g***d (701)- Évaluation laissée par l'acheteur.Six derniers moisAchat vérifiéItem is as described shipped & arrived promptly. Tried to contact seller with feedback regarding the dust jacket & the damage sustained due to the way the book was packaged. Unfortunately the seller does not accept messages. The book was placed in a bag 1.5 times bigger than the book. As a result the book and dust jacket had a lot room to move in different directions. As a result, the dust jacket was pretty crushed. Aside from above, great seller, & good transaction.More of . . . The Best of Bits & Pieces - Rob Gilbert, 0910187118, hardcover (#126858949994)
