The back of the phone showed some light traces of marking, maybe from being in a phone case. I didn’t mine because my phone is always in a case and I won’t see the back of the phone. It operates well and was easy to set up with my service. The phone has 80% battery and appears to be in very good condition as described. No problems after two weeks of use.
