Budget publisher ValuSoft continues its Ultimate Mahjongg series with this 2006 update, offering more layouts, tile sets, and play options than its predecessors. More than 500 tile sets and layouts are available on the disc, but players are free to create custom tiles or layouts with the built-in editor. Over 2,500 backgrounds help set each tranquil stage with an assortment of nature photos, artwork, and animated scenes. Digital pictures can be added to the existing collection as well, giving players unlimited scenery options. Twenty game variants include solitaire, memory, tournament, waterfall, arcade, and more.
