There was a problem with my order, it was taking longer to be delivered than promised. I received a call from the seller, very apologetic, explaining that there was a mixup with inventory. I was told that they ordered more, and would send it out the next day. I was thanked for my patience, and given another apology. I received my item a couple days later. Rugged and well made.
I purchased the Streamlight unit after having purchased a number of rechargable LED lights that would not hold up in shop use. I have used Streamlight products since1981 due to having worked in law enforcement. Streamlight products are the best of the kind and have always given me good service. Also when repairs were needed Streamlight repaired them quickly and at little to no cost. I have been sorely disappointed on the lack of ruggedness of most LED rechargable lights. I purchased this Switchblade based on my past history of Steamlight having dependable products. I like the unit, it is bright and appears very rugged, although I have not used it a great deal yet to prove that. I have no doubt if problems develop Streamlight will stand behind their product. I wish it was programmable in the order of the way the light comes on and goes through its transitions. It seems odd to me that the rear light comes on first rather than the front light of the stick. I had much rather have it light up from the inside and then transition to the outside. Really a small issue, but one that could be improved on. At this point I would rebuy this same model.

Must have for any projects needing close range lighting.
Great light and very versatile. Only gripe would be that it would be noce to control brightness. But still get 5 stars because its an awesome light. Nice wide flood and very bright.

Great light...worth the money
This light is great!... you're gonna pay a little more for these lights but they're worth it.. The HF light is good but I dropped it once....once... now it will never work the way it used to...this light can take the work...the detents are strong...this thing is what the Harbor Freight light wishes it was...and its only a little more cash...worth every cent...

I dont think the claimed 800 lumens is right. I got a Mac light thats smaller and they seem to produce the same intensity at the highest setting. The Mac light claims 450 lumens. And this light doesnt tilt 360 degrees like the Mac light. Luckily I didnt pay retail. I’d be very pissed if I did. Edit: I’ve charged this completely and to my surprise its really bright! Maybe I didnt charge it long enough the first time. So I purchased another one. I dont think the claimed 800 lumens is right.
