Product Information

Capcom's three-on-three arcade game featuring popular characters from their previous lineup of action, shooting, and fighting titles makes its Xbox debut with the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2. A total of 56 characters are available to fight as or against, 24 of which are initially playable. Each combatant offers a variety of aerial maneuvers, special attacks, and projectile blasts as players attempt to defeat their opponent's team. <br><br>Rather than having all three characters fight on the screen at once, players swap fighters in and out of the match at any time, even for a single attack on an opponent. The remaining two characters rest on the sidelines until called upon to assist. In addition to a health bar, each fighter has a separate meter used for Hyper Combo attacks that can be powered-up to five increasingly destructive levels. <br><br>Besides directly switching characters during a fight, players can press one of two assist buttons to have one of their teammates perform a pre-selected attack or defensive maneuver. If an opponent has unleashed an aerial attack, for example, pressing the assist button might have the second or third character enter the screen to perform an anti-air maneuver, thus leaving the primary fighter free from harm. <br><br>Notable characters include Mega Man, Dr. Doom, Cyclops, Captain Commando, Cable, Jill Valentine, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Ryu, Strider, Hulk, Captain America, Morrigan, and Tron Bonne. Game modes consist of Arcade, Score Attack, Vs, and Training. Hidden characters, bonus stages, extra costumes, and additional colors can be unlocked using points earned by competing in the various modes of play.

    The quality of the item was as described ‘like new’. The value and appearance were flawless as described. My only issue was with the shipping. I feel like I paid a lot of extra money for shipping and the seller did not even ship it in protected bubble wrap or anything. Just some paper that was crumpled up on top and below of it. It just seemed cheap and like the seller didn’t really care how the item arrived. But, thankfully it was still perfect.

    While I appreciate the positive feedback, the information on the shipping here simply isn't true. This was shipped in a protective bubble envelope, and because it's a steelbook that can dent easily, it was also wrapped in additional bubblewrap inside the envelope to ensure that it was extra secure. No paper of any type was put into the envelope at all. Extra care was taken to ensure that this was safe, and i dont know why you would try to claim otherwise here

    Price was good and the condition is as described. The packaging was not what I would expect as there was literally no bubble or paper to stop the figure from moving around and falling apart. However nothing is broken which is good.

    Glad to hear these help up in shipping, and I apologize for the insufficient packing material inside the cases. I didn't think to put extra packing inside the actual packaging until after these had already gone out, but will be sure to do so with these in the future.

    My favorite game of all time !! Great roster selection . awesome combos and super moves . love the 3 on 3 battle system .. Definitely a timeless game !

    Everthing You'd Expect

    MVC2: New Age of Heroes is just one of those games that's so good, that there's not much to say that hasn't been said already. Great graphics, a solid character roster and cool stages make it worthy of being one of the best fighting games ever

    Very Awesome fighting game. The animation and the amount of fighters (56) some to unlock with stages and colors a massive game to be played with family and friends. Its also for collectors into fighting games this is for you 😀

    Glitching Game

    This works fine in the menu and character selection screen but when you go into gameplay it glitches the whole time with the characters and gameplay, I tried it on Xbox original and Xbox 360 same thing in both systems
