Nice Watch
The watch comes with a nice leather band that is easily replaced with other watch bands found on eBay. The bluetooth connection to your device is simple and straightforward. The bluetooth connection also allows the watch to broadcast music to a set of wireless headphones, an app that I have not tried for myself. The apps and interface for the watch could use some attention but overall they are useful. The watch vibrates when receiving a call, text or email which I find extremely helpful as I am constantly missing calls or texts from my phone. The texts can be set to display on the watch face when received and there is also an option to answer the text from the watch without pulling out your phone. The S-health app does a god job of monitoring activity levels and can remind the wearer to ... The watch comes with a nice leather band that is easily replaced with other watch bands found on eBay. There also a heart-rate monitor that does a decent job of detecting the wearers current heart rate. The wearer has the ability to change the displayed watch face. The watch faces that come standard are quite functional but other faces, some free, some paid, can be found on the web. The different faces allow the wearer to display a simple watch with hour, minute and second hands, or display everything from the number of steps taken to the current phase the moon is in. The battery life seems to be about 24 hours for the number of functions that I use. Overall I find the Samsung Gear S2 Classic to be a very functional and helpful device for my lifestyle.

very effective, smart and useful
This is my first smartwatch and I really appreciate the design of samsung gear s2. S-health is so interactive with day to day activities. notifications are also good and there were no sync issues with the phone. Recently i got an OTA update (R732XXU2BOL3) and it too works well. battery is also good and sometimes it can last up to 3 days. The wrist band is in genuine leather but it may get easily damaged for heavy usage, better to have a metallic/steel wrist band if you used for heavy work. Watch face cover is a must as it is easy to be scratched. Overall performance and smart interface and designing of gear S2 is very good for the best of my experience.This is my first smartwatch and I really appreciate the design of samsung gear s2. More of a fun toy than a functional tool. Platinum was a waste of money.
The battery is ridiculous. Tracking sleep, activity and health, I get anywhere from half a day to almost 24 hours. It's so bad that I'm usually wearing a dead watch by dinner time, or drinks with friends. (my day starts with a 5:30 a.m. run for reference) A satin finish would fit the form better than the high polish platinum. Not only does it show scratches easily, but it draws attention to the fact that you're wearing a smart watch, and not a real watch. Overall, it's a quality watch. The heart rate monitor works fairly well, but the activity tracking apps leave a lot to be desired. I was hoping this would be a good training tool that I could wear to meetings without it being painfully obvious that I'm wearing a smart watch. Guess what? It's painfully obvious. Worth the purchase.
I am a watch collector and have several analogue timepieces. I would rate this S2 Classic, up there with my best. Like the faces available, look like the real thing, the graphics are incredible. It will vibrate when alerts, like emails, or other alerts are received on my Galaxy S6 Edge+. Quite handy.

Great screen and wrist functionality
Beautiful screen with plenty of functionality. More comprehensive apps. Do miss the speaker and the Dick Tracy ability to answer phone calls just a little.
