Aside from that this can was exactly what I wanted at a fair price, what really needs praise is how the seller handled a shipping that went sideways. The spout that came with this can was damaged either in a warehouse or during shipping. I sent pictures of the damaged box and broken spout and asked how to proceed. With the information provided a replacement spout is on the way to be delivered tomorrow. Customer service like this is what creates return customers, of which I will be one.

Save money by re-building your own regulator
After getting tired of paying $85 for a regulator rebuild I found this kit. With some trepidation I gave it a try. The rebuild process was easy and by the time the regulator needed another repair a few years later there was no question about doing it myself or paying for it. You can find videos showing the steps if you're not sure. Doing your own rebuild is not for everyone. There are risks if you get it wrong and you may prefer the security of having a pro do the work. Seat assembly has a hole through it, the new one doesn't...Does it make a difference?
On our Victor SR250C model, the seat assembly (the T shaped brass piece) had a hole all the way through it and one hole on the side. The new one in the package was solid through and through. I used the new one, and have had no issues whatsoever as I have used the gauge multiple times. Note: be sure to check the position of the brass end cap...if memory serves, the smaller diameter should be facing the spring....but please don't take my word for it, just REALLY pay attention to it's position=very important.On our Victor SR250C model, the seat assembly (the T shaped brass piece) had a hole all the way through it and one hole on the side. Regulator rebuild super easy

Repair Kit
I accidentally ordered the wrong part number but I was able to use almost every part in the kit anyway. So I didn't need to exchange it. The kit was high quality and I am very happy with it. I would definitely order again but I would get the right number next time.

The way to go.
Looks to be genuine Victor parts they fit and my torch works again. The local stores would not sell me the parts I needed for this simple repair and what they wanted to send my regulator out was expensive.This was the easy inexpensive way to go.
