The 1 exception is that drives over 2-TB the GPT format on the drive is incompatible with other drive interfaces. E.g., PC internal SATA, StarTech eSATA/USB docking stn, a USB SATA-3 drive interface cable, etc. GPT formatted drives on those three devices are all interchangeable among the 3 devices, but NOT with the Sabrent EC-UASP. Sabrent apparently does something different for the on-disk GPT format that is incompatible with other devices.

Insert your 2.5" SSD drive, snap the lid back on and you're off and running. No conflicts with Windows 11 and my Mac recognizes the drive as well. Another nice feature, the case on the back has an on off switch. Will shop again soon here. Highly recommend to others.

As it turns out, United Parcel Service entirely ripped open the shipping envelope at the perforations for some reason but all was ultimately okay because the product carton inside was factory shrink wrapped and that remained intact.
