super easy to set up and gives full bars on cell phone signal
I live in an older home. The roof and walls don't let the cell phone tower signal come through very well. Most days i was lucky to have even one bar on my cell phone signal and calls dropped constantly. The signal worked a little better if I stood at the back slider door...but again the calls dropped in the middle of most conversations. We heard of this signal booster called a MICROCELL that AT&T offered and decided to to try it. WOW! What a difference! I can be anywhere in my house and always have full bars I can talk for as long as I'd like and the calls never drop. If you have the same problem with a weak cell phone signal...you would certainly be happy with this booster. All you need is AT&T service...call them and activate.I live in an older home. If you live in a dead zone this is the fix you want and need. There is no need to buy a brand new model. This is only rated to 4G speed for data....but since it needs an internet connection to work in the first place, you would never be using data. This will give you 5 bar phone coverage in your house which is exactly what you are looking for in a microcell. So if you are thinking about getting a microcell and your research leads you here....fear not, this model gives you all the phone coverage you need on even the newest phones....and at a substantially lower price.If you live in a dead zone this is the fix you want and need. waste of money
After talking to my att tech that came to my home to do some work, he said that i needed a micro cell so i went to the att store all they said was they don't hand them out anymore. Oh OK then, so i bought 2 different one and after i got the first one in and spending 4 hours trying to activate it. i call ATT apparently they are no longer activating/ supporting these devices on new accounts as of march of last year( what the rep said) so these are now a big paper weight and a waste of money. look for something that might work with ATT networks don't waste your money on something that att wont let us use that they once sold to help us improve our cell signal.After talking to my att tech that came to my home to do some work, he said that i needed a micro cell so i went to the att store all they said was they don't hand them out anymore. Microcell works as advertised
This is the 3rd microcell I've owned. One of them died after 11 years so I replaced it with this used one. I run 2 of them at home as I have no ATT (or VErizon) coverage at my location. They work great and provide xcellent signal. Even though ATT nolonger supports them, It's a great alternative for me.
