    I needed to transfer the remote, key blade, AND transponder chip to make it work with my 2010 Camry, but once I did that it worked like a charm. You need to use a lot of force to get the blade holder sung in the housing before the screw holding it in place will engage, which is good since it solidly holds the blade in place. However, would have appreciated directions to help me figure that out a little easier. Overall great product.

    Item was shipped by USPS, and was stuck in New Jersey for a week before it was delivered to me. When I tried to contact the seller about the delay I got no response. What should have arrived in 5 or 6 days took 10. The item was new. But the security chip and metal key holder do not sit inside completely in the key fob shell. The screw provider doesn't screw all the way through. So it is not possible to close the key fob shell at the bottom & have to use tape to keep it closed.

    This was purchased for a 2006 Rav 4. I just put it together and it kinda works but the Lock Button keeps getting stuck. the rubber insert to hit the Lock Key doesn't work all the time. So I have to press it several times for it to click. It's kind of annoying but I have no choice since the original shell is falling apart. It's better than nothing but not an exact quality match.

    Securely holds the OEM remote blade.

    It comes with no instructions. It was difficult to remove the transponder chip from the original key but no problem fitting the transponder into this new case. The case did not close without squeezing it together with a pair of pliers. It seems to securely hold the blade from the original key and works great.

    Does not work

    A chipped key requires a battery to touch it in some way so a signal can be sent to the ignition computer to start the car. The design of the shell case does not allow for the computer chip with battery to make contact to the chip key. It may work for you but neither of the two I purchased allowed my already programed key to work.

    The ability to use the old key in the new case is a nice feature, but the button membrane is too thick, holds the buttons down constantly
