Great boxset of many rare beach boys songs.
Tons of rare songs here from one of the greatest harmonic bands in earth's history. Great songwriting and vocals and the band could play when in the studio even if they had studio musicians on some of their midsixties releases. They made great music throughout their career and this boxset highlights it. I have all their boxsets and releases so you could say I am big fan of their music. the sound here is very good and this out of print boxset is well worth owning. Tons of rare songs here from one of the greatest harmonic bands in earth's history. Great Set!
This 6 CD set includes many Beach Boy favorites, demos, alternate versions, live and previously unreleased cuts. The music has been remastered and I think these are the best versions I've ever heard. The CDs are housed in a hard cover book that has printed autographs of the remaining band members, plenty of photos with info, and a long list of those involved in the recordings throughout the years. Also, there is a song list for each CD stating who wrote the song and who sang lead vocal. There are also memorial photos for both Carl and Dennis. The set I bought has a saw cut at the top of the book. It is a 5/8 inch cut and it cuts into the book pages about 1/2 inch. It really doesn't affect the set that badly. Most pictures are not near it. Beach Boy Fans should buy it now
Great for hardcore Beach Boy music lovers & a worthy retrospective collection for those that like the hit records too. There are quite a few tracks that aren't available on any other release. The sound is good too. a no problem transaction.

Surf's Up dudes and dudettes!
This is essentially a replacement for the original box set they released many years ago. But lotsa new stuff here as well. I got it for about $10 a disc. How can you pass that up! Surf's Up dudes and dudettes!

Quality instant Beach Boys collection!
Excellent way to get a fairly complete Beach Boys collection. Mixes are superior to many of the CD releases of the individual albums.
