It was locked to o2 and I put in an EE SIM card, made a phone call it works fine! Thank you.

However, aftersales service was pretty abysmal. Messaged them twice to ask when would get phone unlocked, each time they told me to read item description. If that had been clear, I would not have needed to ask! I felt they were treating me like an idi8t.
