Thing is a beast!!
I am running an 11-1 small block with timing locked at 35 degrees advanced. I have been getting starters for my truck at a rate of 1 or 2 a year. I saw this and thought, great price. Best purchase I have made. Like I said in the header this light little starter is an absolute beast. I highly reccommend it, and there should not be heat soak problems as it is not tight under the headers. The starter that could
Great small strong motor. To me, it sounds like a starter to a diesel motor. It bolted right up to my 350sbc with a little wiggle because of the flywheel shield on the bell housing. I didn't even need use the shims provide. Cranked over the motor with no problem the first try.

Great little starter
It was impossible to get my conventional starter on my 383 stroker with new headers Installed.So I decided to give this a little starter a try and at this point I couldn't be happier. It was a piece of cake to slip this through my headers and bolt it up. My compression ratio is close to 12 and it rips right through. It has a unique sound to it in an excellent way when you crank your motor. My friend who was with me when I first fired it up was equally Impressed.
