Luckily I saw my usps driver arrive and stopped herbefore she tried to "jam" the envelope in the mail box,KIt also arrived almost a month early.

Seller charges less shipping fees but uses soft packet mailers in place of an outer box so pass if a crushed kit box is a problem for you. Also, providing a tracking # is not "same day shipping". Carrier acceptance took 3 days which is about the same as other sellers. Overall, a smooth experience if ok with a packet mailer.

I contacted the seller with a picture of the missing part. Seller replied that he had contacted the manufacturer and was told a replacement would be sent directly from them. The replacement part was delivered a reasonable time later. I commend this vendor (Scale Model Kits) and the manufacturer (Metallic Details) for excellent customer service. A+++++
