    UAP-AC-Pro is an efficient and inexpensive WiFi access point for medium-sized deployments.

    The UAP-AC-Pro I purchased on eBay will join 3 other AC-Pros and 12 AC-HDs at the high school where I work. The AC-Pros have a great range and each can handle 30 or more chromebooks, Macs, and PCs. The Ubiquiti Unifi infrastructure allows clients to roam between the AC-Pros without dropping connections.

    Good Cheaper WiFi Access Point

    Product works well, is easily configured and helps to add some additional Wi-Fi coverage around the house. It is much cheaper than the new models available as it is WiFi 5 instead of 6 or 7, but it still provides what I need right now and lets me slowly upgrade. The one downside is that it looks like the LEDs dim over time and so it is hard to see the LED even when it is turned on. Otherwise, this seems to work fine.

    Unifi AP AC PRO access point

    I am really impressed with the quality and speed of this device especially in areas where signal is not strong the throughput is still high. It's ability to do multiple v-lans and the connection of all the devices you could possibly connect in your home and still get amazing speed is mind boggling. The only reason I don't give this device 5 out of five is for coverage, while it has very good coverage it could be better. As a result I just opted to use one on each floor of my home and that works extremely well. I wish there was a 4.5 out of 5 rating !! That's what I give it 4.5 rating.

    A great access point!

    I have the UAP-AC-LR version of this product on the far side of the house and love it, so I decided to purchase another for the other side of the house. The LAN cable already ran right through where I wanted It, and rather than purchasing a switch and the LR version plus running power there to that location for the switch (the LR does not have a pass through port) I bought this one. Works just as good as the LR and has the pass through port. Ubiquity products may take a little knowledge and time to setup, it is worth it. Once is setup you can drop it into any router system without making any changes to the network name and password because it is held in the AP not the router. Plus the pass off of your connection to each other is seamless.
