        Apocalypse Now Review

        This is an epic tale of, well, a bunch of stuff. Vietnam war, intrigue, drama, you name it this movie has it. It even has playboy playmate models partying it up for the soldiers. This is a real review by a real person, me. How do you know that? Because I am going to include HEIL HITLER in my review of this movie. No fake movie reviewer would say HEIL HITLER. Pick up this movie, have a few drinks, and enjoy.

        Apocalypse 4K is great

        This is the definitive set of this classic film to get, it has all 3 versions and every single feature from the older discs ported over into this new 4K set. The PQ and AQ is excellent with the 4K remasters and looks best on a 4K tv! I highly recommend getting this set! There is nothing bad about this set IMO.

        Improved version for those who love the movie

        Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm sure some of you were thinking the same thing I was: Coppola (and the studio) just hawking another version of the movie, like redux and dossier, to get you to buy it again. However I was glad I picked up final cut as it really was a much smoother movie to watch, especially after the awkward parts that were added to redux. I thought the raw additions (in redux) took away from Willard, but final cut seems to me to keep the mystery of the character in place, and is a much better transition through the added bunny and French plantation scenes. If you love the movie you owe it to yourself to check out final cut, and I agree with the director that it is the best version to date.

        This collection contains all 3 versions of the movie. Each version is on BluRay and regular DVD. So, it will work no matter what player you have. Plus bonus DVD's with extra features.
