2018 album from the singer/songwriter. The album includes 'In My Blood' and 'Lost In Japan.' Shawn attracted a following in 2013, when he began posting song covers on the video-sharing application Vine. The following year, he caught the attention of artist manager Andrew Gertler and Island Records A&R Ziggy Chareton, which led to him signing a deal with the record label. Mendes went on to release an EP in July 2014 and his debut studio album Handwritten (2015). His second album Illuminate came out in 2016. Both albums debuted atop of the US Billboard 200, with the first one making Mendes one of five artists to ever debut at #1 before the age of eighteen.

    SHAWN MENDES SCORES AGAIN.

    Mr. Mendes' third studio album continues his conquest of pop music. This kid has more talent than he yet knows what to do with. A beautiful, expressive voice that often would seem at home in soul or R&B sails over some terrific songs and smart production. Even the lesser tunes are elevated by Mendes' playful, genius singing and overall joy in performing. It's almost as if he's starting to trust how good he is.

    Love it!

    This cd was so cheap i really wasn't expecting it to be soooooo good. I love the way he pours himself into every word. He reminds me of a newer, better, version of Prince.

    In my opinion, THE ALBUM is just okay.

    September 2016 Illuminate CD is much better than his 2018 release. Majority of the songs are very mellow and not upbeat. Disappointing as Shawn Mendes is a great musician and song writer.
