Get ready to let your imagination run wild as the robot Johnny 5 comes to life in the movie 'Short Circuit.' The 'Short Circuit' DVD stars 1980s mainstays Steve Guttenberg, Ally Sheedy, and Fisher Stevens in starring roles. Tim Blaney stars as the voice of lovable robot Johnny 5. The story focuses on a robot who was designed for war in the military, but becomes sentient and peaceful. Ally Sheedy's character finds out about the robot and teaches it about pop culture and living life as a human. She must keep the robot from getting captured by the military, which is interested in stealing Johnny 5 and making his technology their own.

    Near mint condition and was as described. Was a wealth of information! Seller packaged with stiff cardboard on both sides of item and labeled "do not bend" on the outside just as I had asked which was very appreciated! Item was very well protected and I hope to do business with this seller again! Even gave me a receipt which is rare to get with most packages anymore! Item was also shipped faster than expected!

    Received this DVD very quickly. It arrived in perfect, excellent condition, and was actually better than expected. The DVD and case look brand new. This was a really great deal. The seller packed the item with care. I’m very happy with this purchase. ** One rather curious thing, though: the listing states the item is in Saint Paul, Minnesota; however, the return address on the package is North Port, Florida. Probably a logical explanation, just a little odd. Still highly recommend this seller.

    A great movie from my childhood. This movie is entertaining for the entire family.

    I bought this because it was not available on any of the streaming apps on my TV. It is as good as I remember it when I saw it in my youth. Everyone in the family enjoyed it. It has a few swear words which let's face it, our children have heard in our times of frustration. It's a cute story with a few laughs mixed in the story!

    An great all around entertaining movie for all ages

    I really love this movie I like how # 5 comes alive and how he interacts with humans and his friendship with stephanie and ben jabituya loved his accent . Its was a great all put together entertaining movie .

    Short Circuit is just a fun movie ! For movie night ! I love G.W.Bailey, Steve Guttenberg, Fisher Stevens, Ally Sheedy and of course Tim Blaney our beloved Short Circuit ! Fun for whole family !

    Classic Movie

    Short Circuit (First Movie) was a hit from the beginning and continues to be full of tongue in cheek humor, techie (GeeK) humor, and anti-establishment humor. (It's HUMOR folks!) In this day of political correctness, Short Circuit would not have made it past the starting line. Thankfully, it is still around, still making us laugh with PG type comedy!
