These microphones also work with a 30-pin camera connection kit. This Meteor Mic is compatible with a range of computer accessories. You can use it with your keyboard or electronic drum kit to make and record songs. This microphone also works with other accessories including a wireless headphone, home studio speakers, or electric guitars. It works with a standard, 3.5-millimeter headphone jack. It also has a headphone volume knob for optimal control. Once you have finished recording with the mic, you can use software to edit the audio. You can add in feedback, make a loop, or harmonize the vocals recorded by this microphone.This USB studio condenser microphone has a large, 25mm diaphragm.     Fabulous product

    I use this for chat on Teamspeak, so my opinion is not that of a professional sound engineer. Given that, the Samson Meteor microphone fits the proverbial bill for me, perfectly. I like the retro and unique look and it picks up my voice clearly (or so I'm told) without having to be right in front of my mouth. I have it sitting behind my keyboard, about 24" in front of me. Two thumbs up from me.......

    Small, but works well

    I got this mic because I needed something better than my headset to use to record YouTube videos, and because with the couple of videos that I watched for a sound test between this and the Blue Yeti, I found that they were fairly similar, but this one is cheaper. Now on to the actual review. PROS: + Small + Lightweight + Comes with Carrying Case and Cable + Good volume + Small prongs are adjustable + Lets you listen to your voice as it plays back + Affordable CONS: - Picks up ambient background noise (such as key or mouse clicking) - Long cable means the chance for tangles - Small frame makes it awkward to mount a pop filter onto it

    Excellent Mono USB Microphone

    Wanted an inexpensive USB mono-microphone, that had higher output than my existing condenser microphone 1/8th" connector. This has worked very well, and the headphone monitor function allows real time feedback on the recording session. The microphone is very well made, with the weight to confirm that, and serves my PC-based recording needs very well. Highly recommended for mono-recording.

    Love the sound quality!!!

    This works great for my audio mixing, nice bass sounds when talking or singing about 1 and 1/2 feet away, clear and crisp... use this connected to Alto mixer to laptop, using the audacity app... very professional overdubbing and overlapping voice over a song or music... I'm happy to have this in the arsenal... highly recommend.

    This device is simply amazing, I can't believe the difference it made in my life

    This microphone sounds awesome and isn't one of those cheep light weight pieces of junk that you normally plug into a computer. The real time sound output is awesome and give you exactly what you'll hear when you replay the recording.
