2008 'vinyl replica' edition of this best-selling two CD set. With a career spanning over four decades The Eagles are among the most successful Rock 'N' Roll acts of all time. The original Eagles compilation, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975, remains one of the best-selling records of all time and this updated two CD collection contains all the same hallmarks that made it so successful, with some welcome surprises. The staple recordings remain, with 'Hotel California' the most immediately recognizable, as well as hits like 'Lyin' Eyes' and 'New Kid in Town'. Also included is their single 'Hole in the World', written as a response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Like many of The Eagles' songs, the difficult and confrontational subject matter is softened by their trademark vocal harmonies.

    Brings back the GOOD memories :)

    I had this release years ago, and I had it as my goto. I loved just relaxing and listening to this one, all the tracks are awesome. Well, it went missing strangely about the same time we broke up and she moved out..... So.

    Best Eagles music collection.

    This is a 2 CD collection of the very best Eagles songs. It spans their entire career, and it features all of the band's popular hit songs. There are also a few lesser known recordings that further display the amazing talent of the Eagles. All of the songs have been remastered for optimal sound and clarity. You will love the music!

    Quality sound, great price, great compilation of their best hit songs.

    Since the days of bootleg 8 track tapes I have been leery of anything import but this is a quality production of original music. Takes me back to my early adult life when this kind of music was on every radio station and juke box. A lot of younger people won't know what I am talking about, but in my humble opinion this was the golden age of music! This is a great cd to ad to any vintage music collection.
