Can't beat a keurig but this ain't the original "Select"
You can't go wrong with a Keurig but don't compare this with the original Keurig Select. Positives: 14 cup option Extra hot brewing option Easy to use More compact for counter space Cons: Don't like the automatic shut off feature. Unless you disarm the auto shut off, the machine shuts off within an hour forcing you to wait and go through the warm up stage Small water tank; have to fill after every three cups Seems to take longer to brew than eariler models You can't go wrong with a Keurig but don't compare this with the original Keurig Select. New model, same dependability
After more than a decade of using the Classic 50 model, this is a little different. The power button is small, and hard to press, but overall, it's a Keurig, and it does what it does, better than any other brand.

Simple, Streamlined Keurig A Good Choice
You won't get to select your temperature, or strength of the brew (except by serving size), but this model is fast and so much more quiet than my old Keurig classic.It's got a matte black plastic which is kind of cool and it offers a 12-ounce option which I love. It doesn't have a color touch screen and it doesn't have any onboard computer to read the bar codes of your K Cups. But it brews perfectly every time and I can get a cup of coffee in under a minute. Best Low-Cost K-Cup Machine!
I kike that it also has a feature for selecting "Strong" brew, and that is has a replaceable charcoal filter.

Think before you buy.
I liked that it brewed coffee so quickly. Buying the k-cups gets very expensive, especially when there are four adults in the house. I prefer tea in the morning. Too many times it tastes like coff-tea because the needle(s) keep residue behind. I tried running a cup of hot water through first. It helped somewhat. It's much cheaper to use a regular coffee maker, and better to use a tea kettle for hot water. I liked that it brewed coffee so quickly.
