Unfortunately the first one I received didn't work, but the seller immediately offered to send me a replacement, free of charge, and did not require me to send back the original. I was initially confused about how to use it as I thought I would have to download the software it suggests when I plugged it into my laptop, but I ended up downloading VLC Media Player instead and that's been working great.
