It is very clear and makes it easy to see my phone. It is obviously new. It's appearance became transparent when plastic like guard was removed.

Only thing worth mentioning was that the teal case is teal/blue not teal/black as indicated in the listing. I saw other sites that advertised the same case as teal/blue. With this seller's photos to support this, I pretty much knew what I was ordering and was pleased that the case did indeed arrive as the teal/blue one. All and all, a good experience with this seller.
