A shooter from the developers of the acclaimed Left 4 Dead series, Evolve finds up to four gamers joining forces to take down massive, player-controlled monsters. Set in the distant future on the planet Shear, where vicious aliens have begun to demolish once prosperous colonies, Evolve lets gamers choose from four character classes and then coordinate and execute attacks, or take control of different monsters and try to destroy the hunters. Though optimized for multiplayer action, Evolve also includes a solo mode, with AI controlling the remaining participants.<br><br>There are three characters within each of the Assault, Trapper, Medic, and Support classes, with each offering a unique set of weapons and specializations. The monsters also have specific skills, with the massive Goliath featuring heavy armor and the ability to breathe fire, the Kraken capable of flying and producing electric attacks, and the Wraith using stealth skills to teleport, abduct, and create decoys. Monsters can also evolve into stronger forms during the course of battle, though they become vulnerable during brief cocoon stages. There are five distinct modes in Evolve, including basic hunts, matches to protect eggs, defend power stations, and protect injured colonists, and the all-encompassing five-match Evacuation mode.

Wonderful seller to work with!! First UPS lost the package, but seller was able to get it tracked down. Once it finally arrived, despite it having been listed as "Tested & works", my Wii would not read the disc at all (there were a couple big scratches/scuffs on the disc). After contacting the seller, my full purchase was refunded right away without complications. Unfortunately I don't have a game to play - but I would use this seller again in the future. I bought two of these items as they were at a good value. One of them was in perfect condition while the other arrived having issues. Reached out to the seller and they got back quickly and sent a replacement. When the replacement also didn’t work, I reached out and was able to return the broken one and the replacement and got my refund for one of the items very quickly. Would recommend and buy from this seller again!

Evolve is unlike any competitive multiplayer I've played, its unique 4v1 system is interesting and that is what makes the game for the most part, good. However, the game is so limited in options that some may find the gameplay repetitive. You basically have two main options, solo, which is you against AI according to your rules, and online multiplayer. The multiplayer has only 3 competitive modes and a private match option for friends only in nonranked matches. The first mode is the hunt, what the game was based around. 4 hunters each of a unique class need to find and kill a monster before it evolves into a more powerful stage 3 and destroys an objective. While this is the most exciting mode, my problem with it is the team proportions. While monsters and 4 hunters are for the most part ... If all hunters are skilled except the trapper, then the monster will be nearly impossible to find. If the medic is lacking, then death will be inevitable. So if you want to hunt, make sure you have a worthy team of friends rather than 10 year old randoms. The evacuation mode is 5 consecutive matches of random modes on random maps, losers gain handicap to even the odds but winners receive a modifier such as defensive turrets for the next match. Here, there are 3 additional game modes that are ok, but not as fun as the hunt. One has the monster defending nests, another has hunters rescuing people, and the last has the hunters defending generators from a monster and its minions. The arena mode locks all players in a small arena to fight, which takes away the searching and stealth aspects for much shorter matches of combat only and less strategy, this mode was recently added, as was other free add-ons, which is good to see. Unfortunately, my biggest issue is that dlc characters have have been in the making since before the game was released and are a big part of the game. It is $10 for extra monsters, and about $5 for extra hunters. While these add more strategy to the game, i feel that the price is excessive and that these could have been made witht he game upon release for free. All the extra characters for the 2 seasons are $70 to the game, costing more than the game when it was new just to add 8 hunters and 2 monsters. Overall, if you are someone who loves competitive multiplayer like COD and don not care if there is no story, this is a fun game. The maps are many and various and the character classes and different monsters are all unique with their own strategies. If multiplayer bores you, this is not for you. The dlc is quite pricey and while it may be worth it to those who really get into this game, this does not apply to most casual players. If you find this game for cheap, go for it, the matches are intense and different enough to be fun.

Good game.
Game arrived on time and looks great and plays good. When it arrived the disk was popped out and moved about. Used glass cleaner and was perfect. Not sure of the Code worked, only got go get 7 downloads out of what looked like 25 or so.

Evolve ultimate edition is amazing
The game is great, the experience is awesome the only thing that kills it is over price dlc thats why the ultimate edition makes the game worth it

Great game but player base is slim.
The player base has sunk a bit and playing as a human can be hard if you're team isnt too fond of tactical/strategic gaming. Otherwise it's great !!! Playing as the monster is always really great whether your a "noob" or a pro it's always fun to kill some animals....... and humans ;)
