Reviews
"Rebekah Faubion writes with pure magic, and The Sun and the Moon is no exception! It weaves together a beautiful story about self-exploration and learning to forge your own fate, a lush setting that feels like a love letter to California, and a swoony, sapphic romance with such ease and rhythm. A five-star read was in the cards all along."-- Mallory Marlowe, USA Today bestselling author of Love and Other Conspiracies "Sparkling with immersive storytelling and chemistry radiating off the pages, this is the schemers-to-lovers romance I never knew I needed."-- Gabriella Gamez, USA Today Bestselling Author of The Next Best Fling "In Faubion's effervescent The Sun and the Moon , one-of-a-kind romance is written in the stars and on the page. Full of passion, poignance and the ephemeral magic of fated love, this story swept us up like a California summer wind and lingers like the moon in a daylit sky."-- Emily Wibberley and Austin Siegemund-Broka, authors of Book Boyfriend "The Sun and The Moon has psychic predictions, family shenanigans, and all the sapphic yearning you could ever want. Rebekah Faubion writes with such warmth and care, infusing her stories with mystical wonder and swoonworthy romance. This one is a sparkly delight."-- Bridget Morrissey, author of Anywhere You Go "I adored this book! Rebekah Faubion has crafted a swoonworthy romance about family, forgiveness, and falling head over heels even when your instincts say you're supposed to resist. The journey Cadence and Sydney take from co-conspirators to lovers is equal parts fun and deeply emotional, and I was rooting so hard for them to choose each other. With sharp, immersive writing and deliciously sensual chemistry, The Sun and the Moon will make you believe in fate." --Jessica James, author of For One Night Only "Enchanting, lyrical, and heartfelt-- The Sun and the Moon had me spellbound from page one! Moira might see the future, but trust me, the real magic here is Faubion's extraordinary talent for capturing human connection in all its messy, marvelous glory. Cadence and Sydney stole my heart completely, their journeys full of vulnerability and chemistry that's nothing short of celestial. It's written in the stars that you're going to adore it!" -- Taleen Voskuni, author of Lavash at First Sight "With its fiercely intriguing cast, surprising turns, and blazing chemistry, The Sun and the Moon is absolutely a star. Rebekah Faubion is fast becoming an all-time fave." -- Dahlia Adler, award-winning author of Cool for the Summer "Buoyed by Faubion's signature dreamy writing and two complex, compelling leads, The Sun and The Moon is the perfect swoony, tender, sexy romance. Combined with two nuanced, engaging parent-child dynamics, readers will be glued to the page waiting for that happily-ever-after"-- Carlyn Greenwald, author of Director's Cut "Rebekah Faubion has done it again! Faubion brings the skeptic and the believer together with a queer romance that's as magical as the writing itself. Love is definitely in the cards for readers of The Sun and The Moon ." -- Liz Parker, author of In the Shadow Garden, "Rebekah Faubion writes with pure magic, and The Sun and the Moon is no exception! Synopsis
Cadence Connolly grew up in the cosmic shadow of her mother, the renown psychic Madame Moira. Now, as a park ranger in Maine, she's carved out her own life far away from her mother's many premonitions and tarot cards... until she receives an invitation to Moira's engagement party. Cadence doesn't know what led to the thawing of her mother's heart, but she'll have to return home to discover the truth. Sydney Sinclair's schedule as a pilot makes long-term relationships difficult, but at least she can fly anywhere in the world for free with only her emotional baggage as a carry-on. After her mum passed, it's always been Sydney and her dad against the world, so it's no wonder she doesn't trust the enigmatic Madame Moira-his newly minted fiancee. When Cadence meets Sydney, they realise they both share similar suspicions about their parents' impending nuptials. As they begin scheming to break up their parents' engagement - they can't possibly be in love after such a short time together - Sydney and Cadence discover an irresistible chemistry with each other instead. Despite not believing in fate, Cadence might just have found her soulmate in Sydney., Like the sun and the moon, these opposites can't escape each other's gravitational pull in this enchanting romance. I don't like how the product was shipped, the box was completely crushed during shipping and my heart sank a bit because I just knew all of the books were going to be damaged, however, the books being shrink wrapped to a piece of cardboard saved them all and despite what the box looked like (no photos unfortunatly) the books are prestine. Very happy with the collection. Saving seller for future purchases.
