The comics were put into a rigid envelope without any additional packaging support (no additional cardboard or bubble wrap). The package arrived with some damage (top corner ripped). Luckily the comics were all mid-low grade already so the books did arrive as described. Furthermore, I thought the sellers grading was quite accurate! I wasn't stoked about the packaging but this was still a good value and I'm happy with the purchase overall. We do also use corrugated cardboard in addition to the rigid mailer in nearly all shipments. In this case, the X-Men books were secured tightly together and had backing boards, providing more strength and protection. Five books is about the limit for these mailers & they could have been boxed. We pack to guard against rough handling - glad it worked in this case to keep the books perfectly safe, but we will be even more protective in the future!
