Heavy with quality
No complaints about it, it turns on a bulb, it can go 240v, it hangs easy, it does heat up but not bad. Never had a problem with either generation of phantom. Been using for 3 years not a single bulb burned. Bulbs last a reasonable to be expected amount of time, the 15 minute reset feature is great for when the power goes out, which it often does around here in winter. All that aside, its a sexy looking piece of equipment, which is a plus if you care how your room looks.No complaints about it, it turns on a bulb, it can go 240v, it hangs easy, it does heat up but not bad. Phantom II
product works like it is supposed to. I should have bought the lamp and timer at the same time.It took a while to get everything together. But all in all the final product is working great. Plants are doing much better with this system.

1000w ballast
Just to be clear you have to use a 1000w bulb, but it can dim to 600w, 750w, 1000w,plus more on the super setting. For instance, the 1000w might make your grow room to hot and you don't have a fan big enough to cool it. You can turn down the light intensity to 600w to cool the room till you get a bigger fan to handle the 1000w. I Love The Phantoms
excellent ballast....I've owned about 8 or 10 of them...600s and 1000s...im running 6 of them now...have never ever had 1 issue with them not 1.....excellent dimming options also overdrive setting and nice soft start which is easy on the lamps.....love em...
