Karen and Richard Carpenter dominated the pop charts in the early '70s as they went on to become one of the best-selling groups of all time.     Carpenters icon CD

    When I was a little kid and I heard the carpenters that was in the early 70s on for a little kid that was just being exposed to differences in music I became more of a connoisseur but I always had a flame for the style and selection and the vocals of Karen Carpenter, and I knew the girls truly like guys that like they’re kind of music and so I could play it in the evening or all day all of the music, so here I am all these years strolling memory lane remembering that my ex-wife had the particular CDs that I’ve re-purchased, I love the music can’t get enough I dig rock ‘n’ roll I dig A variety of all genre but I had to add these two CDs to my collection this one and then the carpenters White album i call it, and I know if you like the carpenters you’ll want to have them in your collection, ...

    Fantastic

    The very best of the Carpenters is featured on this album plus the bonus track this masquerade. It also includes a few of the later hits, yet I wish Richard Carpenter would have put the classic Christmas song Merry Christmas Darling as it was and still is wanted to have defining moments up there great career. Otherwise it is a great collection. Karen Carpenter at the best voice of her generation
