    Good CB for the money.

    I have had one of these CBs on my boat for several years, so I can't really say it is better than expected, but it is far better than the 3 stars "OK" rating. I bought this for a spare, but my brother needed a CB, so I gave this one to him. These radios work well and are durable in my salt water environment. My one real issue is the RF Gain/Squelch knobs being inside each other, and at times adjusting the gain or the squelch can inadvertently turn the other knob. I start the day with the RF Gain maxed out, and the squelch just above the static. As the day goes, I usually have to turn the squelch up or the gain back because of the skip blasting in. That is when those adjustments have to happen for me. Bottom line is I like this radio so much I bought a second one.

    Great entry level CB

    Works great, can hear and be heard clearly with basic 2 ft mag mount antenna. Does not come with 12v cigarette adapter so pick one up unless you plan on hard wiring this radio.

    OUTSTANDING-CB

    Great Value, for a Midland CB Radio, a well known manufacturer in electronics. Very well made, compact, and looks very, very, good for price, The quality is outstanding, and the performance. This is an exceptional CB Radio, great sound, you would expect to pay much more money for this item. Also being so compact, does not require much space. Also you can purchase a whip antenna from Midland, at a very low price for this 40-Channel CB Radio. I am very pleased with the purchase of this Midland Radio, for the price, quality and wonderful performance. This CB will really come in handy for an emergency situation, and my cell phone may not work.
