Product Information

Based on poet Ted Hughes' 1968 children's book, former SIMPSONS producer Brad Bird's adaptation proves to be a work of art the family can enjoy together--simple and visually captivating enough for kids and sharp and touching enough for adults. Hogarth is a young boy in 1950s Maine. When he finds a kind and very large robot (of unknown origin), a strong bond of friendship is formed between the two. It isn't long, however, until a government agent is on their trail, wanting to destory the robot. A beautifully rendered fable.

    Bird Lives!

    Brad Bird’s first big hit film that shows he started with the storytelling skills, direction insights and heart warming creativity that carries on in his later works for Pixar. This is a very funny, human and positive story with excellent art and CGI even being many years old. I wish more people knew and appreciated this film.

    Hide in plain sight...

    Iron Giant is a Great Classic, heartwarming tale. A boy and his robot.. does it get any better than that! It's a "must watch"..and own.. to tell any more risks "spoiler alert".

    Great Movie

    I have a great grandson that has to watch this movie every day that he is at my house. Oh, and he is only 19 months old. He loves it. PS: So do i and i'm 65 lol
