I love their regular nibs (fine and medium). This pen is always inked alongside my 912 heritage. I also have a custom 845 urushi which i also use but a little more sparingly so as to keep it in good condition as possible.

I was nervous about trying a new fill mechanism but this was fairly user friendly and I was able to fill my pen quickly. The ink capacity is fabulous and I love that it forms a seal when not in use. This pen will be a travel companion for sure!! The smoke is subtle in appearance - this pen isn’t “flashy” but has an understated elegance that makes it a lovely tool that will get a lot of use. It shipped fast and in good condition.
