Highlights include six original Sonic the Hedgehog games for Genesis, three of the earliest Phantasy Star games, three Golden Axe games, three Streets of Rage games, Vectorman and its sequel, the first Ecco games, and one-time console hits, such as Flicky, Kid Chameleon, Columns, and Comix Zone. Additional games and modes can be unlocked through play. All games have been enhanced for 720p output.

    Have bought from 2nd Chance before and I knew that this is where I needed to look for this game. Disc is brand new and has worked flawlessly. The nostalgia is awesome.

    Great Sega Genesis collection

    Contains around 40 Sega Genesis games. All representative of the best the Genesis had to offer. Has a great variety too : from rpg to brawler games, from puzzle to action adventure, it contains almost all game types in relatively equal numbers. Replay value is very high and total length of play also. Most games are pretty tough and offer a great challenge.

    For all Sega Genesis fans

    Great games, on this title. Lots of two player games. A lot of some of the best RPG's that SEGA Genesis has ever released. Good "kids" games selection as well. I seen one review that stated the games are not "Full screen" There is an option to "stretch" the screen for a full widescreen experience. 16-bit has never looked this good. Highly recommended for any retro gamer.

    Most of the games are very similar to each other.

    The majority of the games are variations of character walks to the right.. use one button for attack, and one for jump. There are a few classics that follow this format and are somewhat worthwhile, such as Altered Beast and the Golden Axe games. There are also a couple tetris knock-offs, and more Sonic games than I need. I was hoping there'd be more variety. Also, the games are not full screen! There's an illustrated border for each game. If you have a small television, better sit close to the screen. If you want a better disk with lots of games, try Midway Arcade.. lots more variety on that one.. Defender, Joust, Gauntlet, Sinistar, Xenophobe, Total Carnage, and lots more.

    64 bit nirvana

    I love it for The Nostalgia factor. And the games are fun. Not all of them, but enough to make it a great deal. And my seven-year-old absolutely loves it. Modern video game programmers could learn something from that
