Works, but could be improved
The Samsung wireless charger is difficult to couple with your phone. It takes a lot of fiddling to find just the right spot for it to recognize your phone and start charging it. Typically, I wake-up my phone to speed up the process since syncing a sleeping phone seems to take longer. I really wish there was some sort of self-centering mechanism like my old wireless charging system that came with a phone case. A magnet in the charging base would snap the phone case (and thus the phone) right to the exact center once you got even remotely close to the right spot. That doesn't happen with this product. There's also no way to turn off the blue and green lights indicating charging status, so I had to move the charge plate away from our bedside because it was so bright in a darkened room ... Samsung MicroUSB Wireless Charger
I purchased this charger as the other cheaper one died after a few days of use. This is the best small charger with an elegant smooth look and all you need to do is to plug in the Micro USB Cable and you are good to go. It has changing color LEDs and it turns green once my Note 5 fully charged and shows in blue while charging and has no lights while nothing is charging or placed on the surface of the charger. Other third party chargers had some overheating issues while charging however this one doesn't have any of those issues found yet. It has a rubber base which improves the grip plus there is a rubber ring where the charging device need to be placed that helps the device to stick firmly on the charging pad. The charging time is surprisingly very short as my Note 5 took less than hour to ... I purchased this charger as the other cheaper one died after a few days of use. It could not be better than this I believe and I still didn't find anything negative about it while using it almost everyday to charge my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 plus Google Nexus 5 without being too cautious about how to place it on the charger with any particular direction(Horizontal/Vertical). So far I found it is has very powerful induction and capable to charge all of my devices in a very reasonable amount of time.

If you have a case on your phone, then the phone will need to be well centered for it to charge. The thinner the case, the more forgiving it seems to be . I would also be nice if it had a larger "shelf" at the bottom as well to stop the phone from sliding off. Again, the shape of the case has a big effect on if this is a concern or not. That said, it looks and works great and I use it all the time. I also like how the phone is propped up and so it acts as a clock while sitting in the cradle. Truly OEM. I use it with my I-Blason Case on my Galaxy S6 Active, My phone starts charging after a second or two. This wireless charger doesn't charge as fast as the fast adaptive wall charger, but when your phone drops multiple times while plugged in like mine, the charge port can be damaged so I purchased this just in case the charge port on my phone does get damaged. The charger works great. The Galaxy S6 active does not support wireless fast charge though. This charger also worked on a friends Droid Turbo 2 phone without a case; couldn't get it to charge with the Urban Armor Gear (UAG). The phone sticks to the rubber inside circle as well. The charger does fairly okay not sliding on surfaces. The indicator lights could be easier to see, but still function well.Truly OEM.
