Filmmaker Steven Soderbergh presents the story of the flamboyant pianist Liberace (played by Michael Douglas) and his long-term partner, Scott Thorson (Matt Damon), in this Warner Bros. biopic. After being invited to a performance, Thorson is dazzled by the performance and the pair become closer after an invite leads Thorson back to Liberace's home. Thorson is delved deeper into Liberace's world after accepting an offer to treat his ailing dog and he finds himself wrapped up in a twisted love affair.
