Used drives can be found on eBay for a reasonable prices and those from reputable re-sellers can deliver performance and longevity virtually equal to new units.

    Good value!

    Western Digital has been my primary source of disk drives and have never been disappointed in them. They seem to last for years! I was surprised to discover I was unable to use this one as an external drive connected via an Interface Cable to a USB Port; I have a couple 2.5" drives I do that with. Finally decided to purchase an Interface Cable with a Power Supply and that did the trick!

    storage drive

    PROS its quiet / stores my data and was cheep. its a good quality drive. CONS its not super fast. don't get me wrong its not a slug. I have a WD black in my other computer and it is much faster then the blue but also cost more so I guess you get what you pay for. I use a ssd for my main drive and this hhd for extra storage and it works out great.

    Same Good Hard Drive!

    They all run fast and quiet and cheap too! had one of these for about 7 years and it still has not died of consent use! This is one for my Grandparents new PC I built them, which is very powerful!
