I have tried the cheap Chinese knock off o-ring sponges and they work fine for a couple of o-rings then the sponges dry up and fall off the lid. Also I am never quite sure if it’s high quality “watch” silicone? With Seiko there is no doubt and I can “re-charge” the sponges with Seiko TSF-451 grease without worry of lubricant compatibility. (The TSF-451 is just thicker)

The movement shipped in a plastic bag inside a hard plastic container inside a box filled with paper wrap stuffing. To top it off the vendor was quick to respond on a question I had. Have used vendor in the past and will use in the future.

Posted ASAP but couriers took weeks getting from one side of the US to the other but that’s nothing to do with seller, once in the UK it got to me within the week.
