Great OEM product Great price
I bought this as I wanted to shorten the shifter a little more than the factory one. I installed it in about a hour. Considering I had previously installed the solid shifter bushing couple months back. It was easier to take the center console quicker. I have the Steeda short shift bracket, shifter bushing,shifter cable bushing. And paired now with this RS OEM shifter it really brings it together for me. I'm satisfied with my purchase. A Great Deal on a Focus ST Shifter
I was in the market for a short-throw shifter for my 2018 Focus ST because the stock or OEM shifter seemed to have too long of a reach or throw for my comfort. I considered this RS shifter and one made by Ford Performance (FP), which costs over three times as much. The OEM, RS, FP shifters are all made by Ford and have the same level of build and quality. The height of the gear shift knobs in the RS and FP shifters are approximately 1/2-inch and 2 inches shorter in height compared with the OEM unit. Besides the difference in height, the only difference between the RS and FP shifters is that the FP shifter has a machined aluminum alloy arm, which connects to one of the shifter cables, compared with a plastic one in the OEM and RS units. In my opinion, the FP shifter sat too low in the ... Upgrade that st shifter!!
I bought this to replace my factory shifter on my 2018 focus st3. This is a direct bolt on replacement, no modifications needed to make it fit. I did solid cable bushings, bracket bushings, and shifter base bushings along with the rs shifter, its night and day vs oem shift setup. Throws are abit shorter due to the rs shifter, it also has a heavier spring for more force going back to center. Overall best mod I have done to the car. Great upgrade for an ST
Installed into an ST, it lowers the shifter height about 0.5", which also gives the feeling of a shorter shift. It's also an OEM part, so you can be assured it fits 100%.

Short Shifter Replacement
Shifter works great it was a complete swap out with the ST shifter. Recommend it rather than one of the modification kit's that cost as much or more. I do recommend watching YouTube video's on the removal of the center console as there are a lot of step's
