Air fitting size
The overall size is smaller, length is the same and it will bolt right in so as for that it is a direct replacement. However; the air fitting bungs are smaller so your factory 3/8" sized couplings will not work! Could be a choke point for a high volume need applications. but then if you're use these little compressors for high volume needs you're probably going run into bigger problems than than this product. My only real complaint is I just didn't like replacing my high dollar quick disconnect couplings, although; I do want to add it does work just fine, bolts right in, so aside from the aforementioned details that I didn't like, there are no manufacturing flaws, and it works great. Can't see any reason I would ever need to buy another one as I have two rebuild kits now but should the ... Update 9/9/2017 While I stand by all the aforementioned points of contention and the positive parts as well, I would like to add a little to it. I have been running this compressor hard all summer long! Feeding from both ports and it supplies every bit as good as the larger OEM version! I have had zero problems with its built in regulator and only have to adjust, as you would with any for temperature changes! I highly recommend this for anyone who runs into the problem I did and finds themselves needing to replace a manifold. Be nice to have the valve ports a little longer but it's solid and will hold up to higher pressure thru rapid temp changes while vibrating like a son of gun!

Worked for my application
I had to match up a new manifold for air compressor. The compressor I have is discontinued and no parts available. I was able to fit this DeWalt manifold to mine. I don't know how it will work on a DeWalt compressor. So far this one works as it should and I don't have any air leaks. It comes with an air regulator valve and that is it. You can swap your gauges and couplings easily. Just remember do not over tighten the components or you can crack the manifold. Use a thread sealer like Teflon tape or Rector seal, easy installation.I had to match up a new manifold for air compressor. The compressor I have is discontinued and no parts available. Good product fair value.
Did exactly what I needed to repair my DeWalt air compressor. So far so good. I use my compressor on a daily bases and it is functioning just fine.

I bought this in 2018 for my Dewalt compressor. It installed easy and has been working flawlessly since. Every once in a while you buy something that simply works. It's nice when that happens.

Good product; careless assembly
I received this promptly, and overall it looks great. The only issue is that the hex plug (where the inlet hose from the compressor is to be connected) was cross threaded and over tightened.
