Product Information

Russell Mulcahy's original saga of immortal Scotsman Connor Macleod, one of a race of immortals who can only be killed when beheaded with a sword. After living in peace for four centuries, he is challenged by an old enemy named Kurgan.During a fierce sword battle in the 1500s, Connor MacLeod, a simple Scotsman known as a poor fighter, is mortally wounded -- but he does not die.     A Disappointment

    I watched the movie when it first came out and thought that it was pretty good. Stopped watching TV, so giving some of the old movies a rerun. After thirty-one years, the movie isn't so good. A weak story line and bland characters. Even the action scenes are second rate. Guys who have been fighting for their lives for centuries should have been able to provide better sword fights. All in all, mediocre/three-stars at best. I docked this DVD version a star because of extremely poor sound quality. I played the DVD on both a computer and a DVD player and much of the sound for movie is barely audible. A major disappointment.

    Highlander is a really good movie and at these prices and quality I will always look here before I buy.

    Ordered from here several times before. I love it. It's good quality, easy to order and usually comes early.

    Highlander movie.

    I bought this dvd because I saw this movie when it first came out in the theater. I do enjoy this film.

    C. Lambert is one of the most cool feared and admired actors ever Too bad he wasn't an action star of today he would've been even more incredible
