Be aware some work is required.
So these gears are in now way a direct or easy fit. I had to cut both sides off and then drill out the gears center to fit over the lift motor jack shaft. Once the plastic gear is broken/cut off there are burrs on it that are so big you have to open up the hole in the gear. Trust me it's not a simple installation. I suppose you could weld the gear in place but I used jb weld. Instructions were that the gear will "thread onto the shaft" which is completely false. Ignore the drill bit,washer and dowel pin in the bag. Useless. Just whack the ends off with a sawzall, drill the gear to the size of the jack shaft area with the burrs on it and mix the jb weld. Apply some to the shaft then slide the gear on and position it to the middle of the burr things. Hold it up with the little zip tie making ... So these gears are in now way a direct or easy fit. PROBLEM SOLVED!!
The most difficult part of this repair, was removing the broken gear. I drove the roll pin from the inboard side. I then cut it off with a Dremel cut off wheel, then removed it entirely. I used a new pin putting the gearmotor back in. The predrilled hole and the included drill bit, using a drill press, went easily. Using a bench grinder, I ground the shaft down to fit. I could not find a use for the wire tie. I used the included grease to pack the gearbox. It works just like new.The most difficult part of this repair, was removing the broken gear. Not drop in replacement.
This is not exactly the same size as my Chevy 2010 Suburban power seat gear. the diameter of the gear is a bit too big can caused the gear to seize if the housing is fully closed. I should have taken a picture before I got rid out the old gear. I had assumed this will work despite the slightly different size. I'm ok to spend $43.99 if it is a drop in replacement.
