It was delivered in a box that was even more beat up and taped up. With that being said, I believe the foot massager was new, but you can't convince me that the box wasn't opened. However, the foot massager seems unused and clean. Close enough! I am not picky. The massager is super nice, everyone in the house gives it two thumbs up. Smooth transaction and good communication.
