Product Information

Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) is a tricky but harmless fast-talker. But he knows how to have fun, which is exactly what he sets out to do when he feigns illness and talks his parents into letting him stay home from school. The perpetually lucky Ferris enlists his hypochondriac best friend, Cameron Frye (Alan Ruck), into springing his girlfriend, Sloane Peterson (Mia Sara), from class, and the three embark on a raucous downtown Chicago adventure. From Wrigley Field to the Art Institute of Chicago to a Polish pride parade, Ferris and his friends make the most of their day off. But Ferris, Sloane, and Cameron might not get away with playing hooky. Ferris's sister, Jeanie (Jennifer Grey), is determined to prove that Ferris is faking sick and make him pay for it, and the bumbling school dean, Ed Rooney (Jeffrey Jones), is sure that Ferris is pulling a fast one. Another classic from writer-director John Hughes (SIXTEEN CANDLES, THE BREAKFAST CLUB), this film features a star turn from Broderick as the charismatic Ferris. Watch for Charlie Sheen as the juvenile delinquent in the police station and comedian Louie Anderson in a brief appearance as a flower deliveryman.

    Ferris Bueller his day off!

    I have watched this movie so many times on TV. Never gets dull or boring. I had to have in my DVD collection even though I can watch on TV. Great movie. Great actors also.

    Great 80s flick

    Very good movie, funny and well written. It takes me back to the 80s which were a hell of alot more fun than 2017. The only scene in this movie that i cant stand is the incredibly lame lip synching parade. They should have had broderick sing it himself. Other than that it is a very entertaining movie.

    Ferris Bueller

    Funniest movie. Good value. Mathew was terrific. Hope I could get away with the things he did in this movie when I was a teen. I could not. Pity his sidekick Alan didn't get the recognition deserved as an actor later on during his short spanned career.

    Forever a classic

    Ferris Bueller is hilarious. It's one of those cult classic 80s teenager movies that adults can appreciate. I watched it when I was young, my kid loved it too.

    Who does not love a day off?!

    Timeless Entertainment to which we can all relate! Who does not crave a day off? But Ferris Bueller manages to finagle it without getting caught, and the world is BETTER for it!
