Synopsis
These Are Not Your Fairy Godmothers When Toots Loudenberry relocated to Los Angeles from South Carolina to be near her daughter, Abby, she expected to bump into the occasional celebrity. She just never expected them to be dead. Meanwhile, Toots and her friends Sophie and Mavis are concerned that the prestigious Dr. Sameer's budding romance with fellow Godmother Ida may have something to do with his ailing bank balance. And Abby's attempted makeover of the celebrity magazine The Informer into the most talked-about tabloid in town could end more than just her career. But the Godmothers wouldn't be the Godmothers if they weren't pulling a few behind-the-scenes strings, and Abby's hopes of changing the fortunes of The Informer are still alive. Yet it'll take an assist from a source no one could have predicted, let alone see, to secure a story that will shake Tinseltown to its very core... Praise for Fern Michaels and Exclusive "Delightful. . .Witty, charming, and complicated, these four childhood chums prove that life is a gift no matter what age you are." -- RT Book Reviews , 4.5 Stars "There's a reason Fern Michaels has published nearly 100 books: she's got a talent for churning out page-turners. Readers will finish this one in a single sitting." -- Charleston Magazine, Beloved and best-selling author Fern Michaels presents the second installment of her fan-favorite series, The Godmothers--now beautifully repackaged! - e***d (290)- Évaluation laissée par l'acheteur.Dernier moisAchat vérifiéGreat price for this huge book. Shipping was delayed but not too unreasonable though the book could have been packed a bit better with some bubble wrap as it tore through the very thin mailer envelope. Would recommend seller to cushion heavy books better when using thin mailer envelopes to avoid the tearing and potentially loosing books. Book is as described! Satisfied with my purchase and would buy from again if packaging was more sturdy. Thank you :)
- p***r (142)- Évaluation laissée par l'acheteur.Six derniers moisAchat vérifiéAs described ,nice price, quickly shipped but not in a padded envelope, nor with a cardboard padding inside a regular envelope, so corners of book were free to be bumped in transit. They were not. The book looked good even with a tear at one corner of the envelope. Both the seller and the buyer were lucky.
- s***k (122)- Évaluation laissée par l'acheteur.Six derniers moisAchat vérifiéHigh quality book arrived in good condition as described. The book's appearance is satisfactory. A great value! Shipping: Seller shipped promptly. But I received an eBay message saying: USPS made a delivery attempt but were unable to proceed due to an insufficient address. Huh? Also, shipping history said book was "Held at Post Office At Customer Request." I didn't request this to be done! Next day I went to my USPS office. They fished around & found package. My address was correct. Weird.Photographing People (Kodak No Nonsense Photography Guides) - O'Connor, Mich... (#156481824914)
