      Great book to have

      When you need it, you need it. The book is outdated in how we think of modern tools, but a lot of the information in this text really hasn't changed in the past 30 years or so. I use this book for design engineering, and my colleagues use anything between the 21st and 26th editions. Grab what you can under $50 and don't worry about getting a modern copy unless you work heavily with polymers. There isn't anything wrong with the information included, but it is my understanding that this area is much larger in newer copies. I personally found the 25th edition to be the perfect balance of a good price and modern style graphs and diagrams.

      Always wanted one!

      Ever since getting a lathe I've gotten by without one but as my skills and ambitions have increased I've finally justified buying one. Didn't need the newest edition as I don't do CNC. Wish I had bought one years ago.

      2000 pages of awesome

      This is a great reference book or just a good book to read and geek out on 50 pages all about various types of taps, design, identification, use case & process. Love this book!!!

      Good source of information for engineers, machinists, etc. Always wanted one and don't regret getting it. It will be useful for years to come.
