Each track boasts a brand new mix supervised by The Doors and Bruce Botnick, the band's original engineer and producer. "We want our fans, both new and old, to hear what we discovered on listening to the actual multi track recordings," says keyboard player Ray Manzarek. "There are background vocals by Jim Morrison, piano parts of mine that weren't used, and guitar stingers and solos by Robby Krieger that never made the original recordings that can now be heard for the first time. We used state-of-the-art techniques to bring these discs to the same sound quality we experienced in the studio when we initially recorded our songs. We invite all our fans to join US in this recreation of the legendary recording sessions of The Doors. And to be a part of our original conceptions." Also available as a 34 track two CD set!     "Very Best of The Doors"

    This cd is the best of the doors. Plays and sounds great. Another one to add to any classic rock collection. Brilliant and timeless with Jim Morrison's outstanding performance.

    Open the Doors

    This is one great collection of songs! The magnificent voice of Jim Morrison singing all of the Doors great songs. A great memorable trip back to the late 60's - early 70's !

    If you love The Doors, you'll love this. Not crazy about The End being the movie version from Apocalypse Now.

    Gave this as a gift and she loved it!

    This was a gift for a friend so I have not personally heard it but she is extremely pleased with the CD.

    Pretty much what I expected

    Wasn’t familiar with all of the songs, wish it was the studio cut of The End and I wish it had When The Musics Over, all in all still very enjoyable , great for s as road trip!
