I was able to crack enough in preparing our yearly cookie baking for Christmas, it was so easy to use & so well built, USA made! Mount it on my porch railing post, sat down & cracked over 4 cups of nuts in no time. Use your own discretion on arm strength to crack these hardshell nuts.After a few tries was able to adjust. It still makes a bit of a mess (I installed it over a bucket which helps some), and the paint is scratched behind where the shells fit in (cosmetic only), but I get whole nuts again and again without hurting my hand! Not to mention it is MUCH faster for me than the hammer method. I just do a quick sweep up after. This is a game changer for harvesting my tree!! Thanks again for a great product!
