Asked seller about this (which he was very quick to respond) and he said it was opened to unlock the phone and said phone was brand new. I checked serial numbers and they were clean and said never activated. Overall happy with seller and would buy from again.

Due 2 this, my carrier states that the item is "not fully compatible" with their network. This seems 2 be because this phone was originally locked 2 Verizon. Seller was generous & helped resolve my issues. The phone appears 2 be working fine.
